LE ROYAL GOLF DE TANGER

First of a long tradition, the Royal golf of Tangier symbolizes Moroccan passion for this sport. Moulay Abdelaziz had inaugurated in 1917, his Majesty King Hassan II inscribed it in the modern era, while preserving its natural, frank and spontaneous character wanted by its architects, Cotton and Pennink. Under a green tiled roof, the veranda of the new club-house gives on a large garden brightened by a fountain, while overhanging the putting-green and the practice.

The 18 holes undulate among the cypresses, the pines, the fir trees and the eucalyptus, they cross the mountain, go down, go up… The 5 PAR 4, claims a constant attention and much dexterity: an abrupt coast wedged between the fir trees and a tiny and sloping green… The reward is wonderful: as far as the eye can see, the roofs of Tangier "the white city' are aligned under the sun.
